Sariska Tiger Reserve Toursim : Sariska, in Rajasthan, the erstwhile royal preserve of the rulers of Alwar, became a sanctuary in the year 1958. The sanctuary came under the Project Tiger in 1979 and became a national park in 1982. It is prime tiger country. The forest is typical dry deciduous, dramatically changing with the change in season. The terrain is undulating plateau lands and wide valleys.

Location: It is located at 37 km from Alwar, on the Delhi – Jaipur Highway, in the state of Rajasthan. It is one of the wildlife destination of Rajasthan, India.

Wildlife Attraction: Tiger, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Wild Dog, Jackal, Hyena, Wild Boar, Sambar, Nilgai, Chitel, Rhesus Monkeys, Langur and Chausingha.

Best Time to Visit: October to June.

By Air: Jaipur is the nearest airport from Sariska at a distance 107-kms.

By Train: The nearest railway station is at Alwar (37-kms).

By Road: Sariska wildlife sanctuary is situated off the Delhi-Alwar-Jaipur Road. Jaipur is located at a distance of 107-kms and Delhi at 200-kms from Sariska. Sariska is well connected with Alwar, which is further directly connected with bus services from Delhi and Jaipur.
